From June 16 to July 4, we’ll be transforming the restroom wall into a stunning work of art that reflects our community’s values and imagination.

What Is the Coyote Point Park Mural Project?

This program is designed for students who are rising 9th graders or higher, offering a chance to contribute to something meaningful while learning valuable skills.

We’ve structured the project to include several weeks of planning, ensuring that participants gain a deep understanding of the mural process before the painting begins. Here’s how it’s organized:

Planning

Participants will brainstorm ideas, research mural themes, and collaborate on the design concept. This week sets the foundation for a cohesive and inspiring project.

Planning + Design Development

With a concept in place, we’ll move to sketching and refining the design. Students will learn about color theory, composition, and scaling their artwork to fit the space.

Planning + Preparations
