Bringing Clean Energy to Life Through Art
Clean energy is shaping the future, and art can help make it easier to understand and appreciate. At Clean Energy in Art, we combine creativity and sustainability to inspire people of all ages. With the generous support of the Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE), we’ve reached a major milestone—expanding our programs to bring interactive workshops, public art exhibitions, and summer camps to more communities.
Our Journey and Milestones
Since launching this initiative, we’ve worked to make clean energy education fun and engaging. Thanks to SVCE’s grant, we’ve hit some exciting milestones:
Expanded to three cities – We’re now hosting workshops in Milpitas, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy, bringing hands-on activities to more families.
Launched free summer camps – Students get to explore clean energy through eco-friendly fashion, sculpture projects, and interactive experiments, all while expressing their creativity.
Organized art competitions – Our community-wide poster contests and exhibitions highlight young artists' visions for a cleaner future. Winning artworks are displayed in local libraries, inspiring more people to think about sustainability.
Held live concerts – We’ve combined music, visual art, and storytelling to raise awareness about clean energy in a fun and engaging way.
Meet the Team
This initiative is led by a passionate team dedicated to combining art and sustainability: Annie Yu, Jonathan Li, Anna Yu, Aiden Zhang, Olivia Xia, Claire Song, and Annie He.
We’re also grateful for the many volunteers and community partners who have supported this program and helped us expand its reach.
Why Art is a Powerful Tool for Change
Art has the power to inspire action. It helps people connect emotionally with big ideas like sustainability and makes complex topics easier to understand. By using art, we’re not just teaching about clean energy—we’re sparking creativity, encouraging innovation, and empowering young minds to think about the future in new ways.
With SVCE’s support, Clean Energy in Art is growing, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. Want to be part of the movement? Visit Clean Energy in Art to learn more and get involved!
