Lunch & Learn Speakers During Our Summer Camp
When: Any weekday from July 8 to August 2, 2024, during lunchtime (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
Where: South Bay Yacht Club, 1491 Hope St, Alviso, CA 95002
Topic: Share your projects, work, journey, history, culture, art, STEM, research, or any other area of interest.
Volunteers Needed: 1-2 per day
Judge for AI+Entrepreneurship Immersive Summer Camp
Camp URL: AI+Entrepreneurship Summer Camp
Note: All camps by CompassPoint Mentorship are free for underserved children.
Role: Be an honored judge for AI-inspired entrepreneurship ideas.
Skills Needed: Anyone interested in inspiring the next generation with entrepreneurship and AI.
When: August 2, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: South Bay Yacht Club, 1491 Hope St, Alviso, CA 95002
Volunteers Needed: 2-3
Archery Community Day
When: Friday afternoons, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, during the camp (from July 8 to August 2, 2024)
Where: Alviso Park, 24 Wilson Way, San Jose, CA 95134 (near Alviso library)
Activities: Engage with local families in this underserved community through archery lessons and play
Volunteers Needed: 3-5 each community day
Amenities: Simple snacks and drinks will be provided
Santa Visits Alviso - Foundation Fundraising / Summer Camp Celebration
When: August 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Where: South Bay Yacht Club, 1491 Hope St, Alviso, CA 95002
Activities: Cooking, preparing donation items, talking with key community members in Alviso
