Meet Tiffany Wang at the Youth Leadership Summit

We’re excited to announce that Tiffany (Chun-An) Wang will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Youth Leadership Summit! If you're passionate about science, technology, and making a positive impact on the world, then you won't want to miss her inspiring talk.

Who is Tiffany Wang?

Tiffany is a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Physics at Stanford University, where she's working on developing new quantum and energy materials for next-generation electronics and sustainable technology. In simpler terms, she’s exploring ways to create more efficient and environmentally-friendly technology that could change the world.

But Tiffany’s work doesn’t stop there. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the North America Taiwanese Engineering and Science Association (NATEA) and leads g0v-Silicon Valley. This open-source community brings together people of all ages to work on projects that address important social challenges. Through hands-on projects, Tiffany and her team are tackling issues related to civic tech and social welfare.

Tiffany has also founded the Stanford Salon of Philosophy and Science (Salon PSI), an organization that encourages deep discussions on the ethical, philosophical, and social impacts of new technologies. She’s all about thinking critically about how innovation affects our world—something that is important as we move into the future.

Before heading to Stanford, Tiffany graduated with a double major in Physics and Computer Science from Boston College. She even conducted research at the Max Planck Institute in Germany, where she helped design the Cherenkov Telescope Arrays, which are now used in Spain and Chile for astronomy research.

When she’s not in the lab or working on tech projects, Tiffany has a creative side. She’s an avid astrophotographer who loves capturing images of distant galaxies. If there are aliens out there, Tiffany is determined to be the first to spot them!

Tiffany’s talk will focus on leadership, innovation, and how young people like YOU can make a difference in your community through technology and new ideas. Get ready to be inspired by her story and her passion for science, social impact, and leadership!
