WiDS Silicon Valley Youth is independently organized by CP Mentorship to be part of the mission to increase participation of women in data science and to feature outstanding women doing outstanding work.

Speaker: Michelle Tran

Michelle is a passionate revenue leader in financial services and fintech. She is SVP, Head of Enterprise Sales at Vestwell, a digital 401(k) provider helping millions of people save for retirement. She previously led commercial teams and strategic initiatives at BlackRock (San Francisco, Hong Kong, NYC), Apex Clearing, and Harness Wealth.

Michelle is passionate and committed to equity in fintech, in particular women in fintech. She is the Co-Founder of NYC FinTech Women, a 10k+ member organization dedicated to empowering, connecting, and promoting women in fintech. While NYC is in the name, NYC FinTech Women run events and programs nationwide including in San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, and Chicago. They launched an annual awards platform, Inspiring FinTech Females, that recognizes over 50+ women each year culminating with a celebration event at the New York Stock Exchange. Michelle frequently speaks on fintech topics at leading conferences, events, and podcasts. She has been recognized as an industry leader by the Innovate Finance Powerlist (Senior Leader category 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 - Standout 45), Asian Hustle Network's 2023 Top 50 Unsung Hero, #28 on the Top Women In FinTech 2021 by FinTech Magazine, and Primary Venture's 40 NYC Leaders You Need to Know.
