Hosted by Alviso in Action, Climate Resilient Communities, and the Alviso Climate Change Community Team, this workshop aims to empower families to grow their own food at home, promoting sustainability and climate resilience.

🌱 What to Expect:

  • Gardening Demonstration: Local garden expert Najiha Al Asmar will provide hands-on guidance on starting a home garden.

  • Free Supplies: The first 60 families to attend will receive a grow bag, soil, seeds, gloves, and gardening tools to begin their journey.

  • Light Refreshments: Complimentary snacks and drinks will be available.

  • Take-Home Guide: Each participant will receive a gardening guide to help them continue growing at home.

This workshop is a great opportunity for Alviso families to learn sustainable gardening practices, connect with the community, and contribute to climate resilience. We look forward to seeing you there! 🌿
