Chris Huynh is a pre-med senior at Carnegie Mellon University who is studying Chemical Engineering with an additional major in Biomedical Engineering. Upon graduation, he plans to take two gap years to conduct research on cardiovascular medical devices and surgical techniques at Stanford University.
2. Allen Yao is a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in Computer Science. He will be interning at Yext Incorporated in New York this summer, and previously worked for Amazon in Seattle last summer.
3. Alex Liang is a junior at Mitty High School. He qualified for USACO Platinum during his sophomore year, and has also built a Chess Bot in his spare time. He recently was invited to be part of USACO Camp.
4. Nathan Yao is a junior at Summit Denali in Sunnyvale. Despite facing challenges with ADHD and Dyslexia, he has maintained a 4.5 GPA, self-studied for several AP exams, and scored a 35 on the ACT. Additionally, he has participated in various community service projects in Santa Clara County and the City of San Jose, and applied for grants to complete those projects.
