This camp is CP Mentorship partner Hera School - A NON-PROFIT AVIATION ACADEMY, we will educate and inspire students in the “sky’s the limit” world of aviation. Promoting diversity and accessibility for our local youth and community.
Embark on an exhilarating journey into the world of aviation with our immersive summer camp designed for young aviation enthusiasts! Our program delves into essential aviation topics including sectional map reading, flight planning, weather reporting, and understanding local airspace dynamics. With state-of-the-art drones as our tools, campers will hone their piloting skills and gain practical knowledge crucial for safe aerial operations. At the culmination of our camp, participants will be prepared to take the Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA opening doors to exciting opportunities in the drone industry. To further enrich the experience, we'll embark on a thrilling field trip to the Hera School Aviation Academy located at Reid Hillview Airport in San Jose, where campers will engage in an immersive experience with our state-of-the-art FAA-certified airplane simulator, offering a taste of real-world aviation scenarios. Join us for an unforgettable summer where dreams take flight!
We will be focused on the Aviation program from 9 AM to 12 PM and the freedom to explore a variety of activities in the afternoon, including Swimming, 3D Pen Design, Embroidery, and Baking. Additionally, situated close to the beautiful Alviso Marina County Park, campers enjoy the unique opportunity to connect with nature through activities like pedaling and hiking. This holistic approach ensures a balanced and enriching summer experience for every camper.
